Is anyone else aware that D’Angelo has returned from kicking it w/ 2 Pac in the Caymon Islands and is back recording performing music? Here is

D performing new song “The Charade” live a week ago in Paris. Sounds like something from out of Prince’s vault of music. Not very polished sounding, but then again it’ being recorded with a camera phone. It would be interesting hear the studio version of this jawn. Seems like he is out of his mumbling phase which I know he had to pick up from J-Dilla between Brown Sugar and his second album. That later of which is hard to glean much from for a variety of reasons, but especially because of his mumbling. Any way good to see dude sober again. Hopefully he stays that way and can embrace his church roots and be rocked the gospel at some point, because it’s hard enjoying some of these folks with great talent, but aren’t in the faith. I mean at most the career could be the jist of their life which has no bearing on eternity apart from Christ which is kind of scary to think about.
