Sometimes people say things that garner much applause and amen’s, but leave me thinking “What the hell was that? Am I in the twilight zone? That was the most nonsensical statement I’ve ever heard.” I can’t be the only one. That’s it. lol Tha’s all I have to say on that note.
Don’t you just hate it when someone is asked for pray for a particular issue or event they pray for everything but that? Ninja’s start preaching and waxing eloquent about hypostatic union when you just wanted them to bless the offering or pray for Ms. Johnson’s bad hip and sit their but down.
Are we grinding to make a change in the lives of others….to make God known…or to simply change our own lives and make ourselves known? Does it have to either or? Seems like you can experience the later as a result of fully pursing the former. Hmm…
Black folks in the library, we’ve got to do better. Let me rephrase that “young black folks in the library….do better.” It’s already kind of bugged you’re in a libabary not reading, as many youth regardless of race do, but to come in there unapologetic about listening to ninjas rapping about profiting from killing our community at max volume just throws salt in the wound for a brother. I’m dead when it’s a 30 something year old man. They should of never given you ninjas the internet! jk maybe.
Okay so T.D. Jakes is now is officially on record saying he is not oneness, but Trinitarian via the Elephant Room Notes of the Jake’s discussion here. Still many will still find a reason to find fault with him regardless. I have no comment on it right now. I would like to dialog about it, but not via a blog or tweets.
I am not a fan of Trip Lee’s new song “I am Not a Robot.” See what I did there? There is just something bout the sound and the hook that reminds me of that Pro song “Mission to Mars” which left me feeling what the fudge? Beat knocks, but didn’t like the premise. Why? Well because it seems like stylistically it sounded like he was embracing and trying to flip a bunch of nonsensical jargon E.T. looking ninjas like Wayne are spewing out to the masses. You know the stuff that’s isn’t inspiring folks to be Astronauts, but be self absorbed and sound the cat with the big number two pencil and circle paper talking about how fly he is. I digress.
You know can can master the practice of transparency & confessing sin but still not be growing if it doesnt translate into a change of heart & action?
That’s all I’m complaining about today. Pray for me. lol Peace.
